STAND UP COCKTAIL FUNCTIONS

We have recently had an increased interest in private stand up cocktail events which have been a great success.

We have held these functions in our bar room with by-folding doors that open up onto bustling BRUNSWICK EAST Lygon St.

Minimum fee for stand up cocktail event is from $3000.

Cocktail food menu starts from $60pp.

We cater a cocktail menu which is specific to you and your special event.

Drinks are charged separately.

 

*Alternative dishes for dietary requirements such as Vegetarian, lactose/gluten free or other can be arranged. 

The above function menus are standard and popular course choices, you can discuss changes with our function co ordinator.

Set menu details can be changed, altered or added. Changes may incur an extra charge.

DRINK CHOICES AND PACKAGES

There are a few options from which to choose from, but it must apply to the whole party.

We apologise in advance, but we do not do half and half.

Option 1: Bar Tab: Nominate an amount for your drink's tab. Drinks are served to your table by your waiter as ordered by your guests. No limit to types of beverage unless stated by yourself. When Tab limit is reached you will be notified and can choose to increase tab or stop. Bill is paid at end of event.

Option 2: Add to Bill: Order drinks from our menu as desired. Bill will be presented at the end of the function for all beverages consumed. No limit to types of beverage unless stated.

 

Option 3: Drink Package: $49pp for 3 hours. Includes all drinks from drinks menu, excluding spirits & cocktails.

 

For Children: Basic Soft Drink Package and juice package $7pp for 3 hours.

We give table service, so please order through your waiter, unless otherwise organised.

Spirits are not included Price quoted is per person.

We do not dress our tables with linen, however you can request white linen for $50 plus additional $20 per ten seater or discuss with chosen event decorator.

Children's menu N/A for Saturday Functions.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Function Menu 

We require tables of 10 guests or more to book with a set menu.

Use the menus to reference function choice ideas or choose alternative meals for your guests from the a la carte menu.

You can swap courses around or add to if you prefer which may alter the price per head. 

Dietary Requirements and Finer Details

Once you have chosen a set menu, we can discuss the finer details.

We are happy to cater to specific needs and dietary requirements such as Vegetarian, Vegan, LF, GF, etc and these can all be discussed and finalised before the event.

 

Drinks

Usually the best option is drinks on consumption and paid at the end of the night - the drink packages are more tailored to corporate events and are not necessary for intimate family celebrations.

We have table service.

There is no ordering facility at the bar.

The barista receives orders from the waiter assigned to your table.

Some hosts prefer to order bottles of wine and drinks for the table rather than have guests order off the drinks menu and this can also be arranged.

Payment

We require 20% deposit to secure a booking. 

Function deposits must be paid one month prior to the function date.

The remaining can be paid at the end of the night with the deposit deducted from the bill. We do not split bills. We will accept up to 2 cards maximum per table. It is best to advise your guests to bring cash if paying separately. 

 

We require 48hrs notice for no shows or guests that can not attend.

A 20% charge will apply for no shows after 48hrs notice.

100% charge will apply after 24hrs notice

 

Private Room

Minimum charge for use of a private room is $3500 for Main Room and $3000 for Bar Room on Saturday nights and includes all meals and drinks. 

Minimum charge for use of private bar room on all other nights/days is $2500. 

Minimum charge for group luncheon is from $1500 and does not guarantee private room. 

You may not be assigned a private space unless request is granted and secured with deposit. 

If a private space is required, please request at time of booking as space quickly fills up and may not be available.

If minimum spend is not reached the remaining amount will act as a hiring fee. 

Time

Lunch bookings are from 12pm - 4pm

Dinner bookings are from 6pm - 10pm

Exceptions may be granted, but must be approved beforehand and will incur additional charges of $500 per hour. 

 

Table Set Up 

Depending on the number of guests the arrangement of tables will be that which is both comfortable for your guests and convenient for staff to serve. For this reason, we do not allow hosts to design table lay out, but will take into consideration any wishes and happy to discuss preferred options.

 

 

Cake and decorations can be delivered prior to your function at an agreed time

Decorations, flower arrangements, menu design/prints and place setting can be arranged separately and at an additional cost.

We can recommend designers and decorators who have successfully collaborated with us in the past.
